Introduction

The shift to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic showed the potential and benefits of online learning. However, we are aware that many young learners do not have access to a device suitable for participating in online education. 

We want to do all we can to minimise disruption so that our learners can participate fully in online learning. We are able to provide device managed iPads and keyboards to students, meaning we control which Apps go onto the device, and only secure websites can be accessed. We’d love to hear from any schools, Virtual Schools and Local Authority teams who are interested in exploring this as an option.

Our Services

Equal Education can provide devices on a leased basis, this takes away the barrier of upfront costs for new devices and avoids the risk associated with second-hand devices. iPads with keyboards represent an innovative and engaging way to support learners in their education. We also ongoing monthly support in the following ways:

Supply

After confirming the number and tier of devices needed, Equal Education will order and deliver the devices to the parent/carer with full updates to clients.

Safe & Secure

Each device is installed with specialist protection software. Enabling Equal Education to limit distracting and dangerous website or apps, maintain safeguarding features, and to lock down stolen or lost devices. Additionally, devices are locked into our management, thus preventing unauthorised sale of the device - guaranteeing only selected students benefit from these devices.

Ready to learn

Each device will already have all the software pre-installed on the device, with no changes or updates needed by users.

Protected

Each device is insured, meaning accidents and mishaps aren’t the end of the world.

Onboarding

Children and carers will be onboarded to ensure they are comfortable with the device and its educational usage.

Through collaborating Apple's Applestore Education team, we have undertaken thorough market analysis to find the best educational apps. Using this knowledge, we can now curate an engaging digital experience for our client's students, as per their requirements and goals.
