Improving outcomes and narrowing the attainment gap for under-resourced learners

At Equal Education, we operate as a social enterprise matching qualified teachers to provide specialist 1:1 tuition programmes with vulnerable and disadvantaged students, including: Children Looked After (CLA), those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC).

We take pride in working only with qualified teachers aligned with our social mission to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, increase engagement and aspirations.

At Equal Education, we are committed to supporting children and young people with 1:1 tuition across the country, and believe fostering strong, positive relationships with our partners is central to this.

Our Services

We offer Supplementary and Alternative Provision (AP) tuition programmes, both online and in-person tailored to the student’s needs. Our Programmes Team matches the student with a tutor who can best meet their needs, manages the delivery of our programmes and provides ongoing support throughout.

We also offer a technology supply for students to learn remotely through device managed iPads.

Since 2012, we’ve worked with 300+ schools, Virtual Schools, and Local Authorities across the UK. We work closely with parents/carers, tutors, schools, social workers and other professionals to provide the best support for the young person.
